This unique item has been created as an artwork companion piece, released alongside the mixed media animation and live action music video for the track ‘Smile’ by Valley of the Crow. The Zine is a mixture of stills from the video, lyrics from the song and colourful hand drawn illustrated panels designed by Charlotte Little, adapted from the original animations for the video.

Description:
Zine to accompany exhibition at the John Hansard Gallery. The zine invited visitors to comment on the relocation of the gallery to Southampton City Centre. Arts Collective Stair/Slide/Space facilitated the exhibition and associated workshops and events. Conversation Station is an evolving artwork that proposes a new kind of public consultation. The zine asks various questions such as; Do galleries make us feel uncomfortable? Should art say something about the world around us?
